Product Description:

Light weight high strength 8 strands UHMWPE offshore mooring rope is made from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber. UHMWPE offshore mooring rope has ultra-high strength, low density, wear resistance, low-temperature resistance, UV resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance. UHMWPE rope is light and easy to carry, it can float in water because of its lower density. At the same diameter, its strength is equivalent to steel cables. At the same strength, the weight of UHMWPE anchor rope is only 1/8 of the steel wire rope, 1/4-1/5 of the nylon or polyester rope, and 18%-20% of the polypropylene rope.

1. When of equal diameter, its strength matches that of steel cables.
2. When of equal weight, its strength surpasses that of steel by eight times.
3. It exhibits low elongation, with a breaking elongation similar to that of steel cables.
4. At equivalent breaking strength, the weight per meter of the rope is only 12% of steel cables,20%-25% of nylon or polyester ropes, and 18%-20% of polypropylene ropes in terms of weight.
5. With equivalent breaking strength, its diameter is 55%-60% of nylon or polyester ropes, and 45% of polypropylene ropes.
6. It is easy to install and has a density less than one, allowing it to float on the water surface.
7. It boasts strong abrasion resistance and a long service life.
8. UHMWPE filament fibers feature a unique low breaking elongation structure.
9. It has low rebound and high safety.
10. With a torque-free design, it maintains a stable orientation during use, suitable for precise operations.
11. It possesses dielectric and resonance properties.
12. The solvent-free manufacturing process results in a creep ratio about 60% lower than high molecular weight PE fibers for both the material and rope products.
13. It has good resistance to dirt and is easy to clean. When used in deep-sea aquaculture net cages, the material effectively reduces microbial growth and adhesion.
